Lower Merion Offering Spoiled Food Disposal Tuesday

Due to extended power outages, the township is opening two spoiled food disposal sites for residents Tuesday. See details here.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion residents can dispose of any spoiled food they may have stemming from extended power outages in the township.

Residents can dispose of spoiled food from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Spoiled food can be disposed of at Justin’s Church parking lot, next to Welsh Valley Middle School, located at 1222 Hagy’s Ford Road in Narberth.

Residents using the service should look for the Lower Merion refuse truck and it will be staffed by a township employee at each location.

Residents are urged to wear masks and practice social distancing.
