Maido the Japanese Market to Hold Grand Opening in Ardmore Saturday
Market, which recently re-opened on Lancaster Avenue, will host a grand opening during the Saturday of the Pope's visit

The Ardmore Initiative earlier this week encouraged businesses in Ardmore to remain open on the weekend of the visit. One business will not only be open, but will hold its grand opening next Saturday.
Maido, the Japanese Market and the region’s only Japanese-owned food market, closed its previous location in Narberth last year for a new location at 1 Lancaster Ave. While it opened recently, Maido will host a grand opening on Saturday, September 26, the Ardmore Initiative said.
Maido contains an eat-in space as well as groceries and a general market. It has earned positive Yelp reviews since reopening.
