Make Mother’s Day Brunch, Dinner Reservations Now In Lower Merion
More eateries in Lower Merion may be open for Mother's Day 2021, but it's a good idea to reserve a spot now. Others offer pickup deals.
LOWER MERION, PA — Everything Mom has done over the past year of the coronavirus pandemic should add up to an extra-special 2021 Mother’s Day celebration on Sunday, May 9. To start her the day off right, how about taking Mom to her favorite Lower Merion brunch spot?
Many restaurants and eateries are still limiting seating, so making a reservation early is especially important this year. And if you’re still undecided about going to a sit-down restaurant, curbside pickup or delivery is an option in many places.

The Capital Grille, located at 236 Mall Boulevard in King of Prussia, is offering to-go service that includes a three-course dinner featuring roasted beef tenderloin with a choice of butter poached North Atlantic lobster tails or scampi-style jumbo shrimp, served with green beans, mashed potatoes, a baked flourless chocolate espresso cake and lemon tea cookies.
Olive Garden, located at 83 E. City Ave. in Bala Cynwyd, offers family-style takeout meals for five that include ready-to-bake entrees and breadsticks with homemade alfredo or marinara dipping sauce, and a large house solid with the signature Italian dressing.
Insomnia Cookies, located at 199 City Ave. in Wynnewood and 1084 E Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr, launched its Mother’s Day Cookie Cakes in some of its most popular customizable options. All cookie cakes are available in 10-inch and 6-inch sizes and provide up to eight servings. In addition, Insomnia is offering 20 percent off all cookie cakes from May 7 to May 10 with code LOVE4MOM.
Yard House, located at 160 N Gulph Road in King of Prussia, is introducing a new three-course Mother’s Day family takeout meal, complete with the option to add a mimosa or bellini kit to celebrate Mom on her special day (where available). Guests can choose from a prix fixe menu that includes one shared salad, one entrée for each person, a choice of two sides, and a shareable dessert.
Seasons 52, located at 160 N. Gulph Road Suite 101 in King of Prussia, is offering a three-course Mother’s Day dinner to go either family-style or dinner for two. Guests can choose either a whole roasted salmon, a glazed spiral ham or a beef tenderloin, all of which comes with salad, roasted green beans, choice of an additional side, and mini indulgences. Options start at $100 for family-style or $55 for two. Each dinner will be chilled and ready for guests to warm at home.
Eddie V's, located at 670 W. Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia, is offering a four-course family-style Mother’s Day dinner to go from Eddie V's, featuring a choice of herb-roasted tenderloin or miso-marinated Chilean sea bass. Entrées come with truffle macaroni and cheese, grilled asparagus, potato gratin, bananas foster butter cake, as well as chocolate strawberries and a long-stem rose. Each dinner serves four-to-six people for $195 and will be chilled and ready for guests to prepare at home.
Bahama Breeze, located at 320 Goddard Boulevard in King of Prussia, has a Caribbean Mother’s Day bundle with choice of entree and appetizers, salad, and either key lime pie or chocolate island for dessert. Bundles serve up to four people and come prepared ahead of time. Choices include jerk chicken pasta, seafood paella, grilled chicken with cilantro crema, or baby back ribs. Guests can also choose two appetizers from a line-up including coconut shrimp, beef empanadas and jerk chicken wings.
Outback Steakhouse, located at 160 N Gulph Road Suite 4220 in King of Prussia, is offering moms a Filet & Lobster Tail or a Prime Rib and Crab Cake Dinner from May 6 to May 12. Guests can also add a Lobster Tail to any entrée for just $9.99 or a crab cake for $6.
Fogo De Chão, located at 155 Main St. Building L in King of Prussia, is including a dining card with any purchase of a Fogo Experience Package during Mother’s Day weekend (May 8 to May 10, 2020), which is valid for one complimentary Full Churrasco lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch that she can use when Fogo reopens it dining rooms.
