Meet Sherman: Merion Station's Most Patriotic Pooch

The photo, Patch reader Carrie Hartman insists, was not staged.

"Sherman," according to the Merion Station resident, was rummaging through her son's room in search of a chew toy on Thursday when he emerged with an American  flag in his clutches. 

Talk about a patriotic pooch.

"When I finally checked to see what he was up to I found this! Thank goodness for iPhones!" Hartman wrote in an email, adding "I know this is hard to believe."

We'll take her word for it.
