Merion Station Resident Receives National Merit Scholarship

A Lower Merion High School student recently received the prestigious National Merit Lockheed Martin Academic Scholarship award. Rebecca Arenson, of Merion Station, was the recipient of the award.

The Lockheed Martin Corporation Foundation supports Merit Scholarship awards for children of Lockheed Martin employees located throughout the world, according to the National Merit Scholarship program.

"These scholarships are part of the corporation's support to its employees, the community, and to education, reflecting its strong belief that higher education is essential to the nation's future," according to the program.
