New Pickleball Open Play Events In Lower Merion
Pickleball is a mix of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Lower Merion is hosting 3 pickleball sessions a week from Sept. 10 to Nov 1.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Pickleball is a paddle game that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis to create a rousing game. And Lower Merion Township is offering residents of all ages and skills levels the chances to play some pickleball games by hosting three pickleball nights a week.
The township invites the public to join its new open pickleball events, which will be held Monday and Wednesday morning as well as Thursday evenings from Sept. 10 through Nov. 1 at the Bala Avenue Tennis Courts.
Morning sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and the evening session from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the courts.

Paddles and balls will be available for those who do not have their own equipment.
From 9 a.m. to noon on Sept. 5, there will be an open play kickoff event at the courts.

The Bala Avenue Tennis Courts are located at 33 Bala Ave., Bala Cynwyd.
