Public Barred From Lower Merion Building For 2 Weeks
Despite the public not being able to access the building, services including police, fire, and refuse collection will go on normally.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Officials in Lower Merion Township said the Lower Merion Township Building will be restricted from public access Tuesday through March 27.
The announcement was made Monday.
The public can still attend the Board of Commissioners meeting on Wednesday, however.

While the public will not be able to get access to the building, essential services including police, fire, and refuse collection will remain unchanged.
Any resident who needs to conduct business with the township should do so via email or telephone during this time.

Lower Merion parks and trails are not closed but residents should practice social distancing and hand sanitation and not allow anyone, especially children, to congregate in large groups.
The deadline for payment of taxes without penalty is March 31 and the Tax Collector’s Office is closed for in person payment. Payments must mailed or submitted electronically.
