Recycle 'Anything With A Plug' May 22 In Lower Merion

The township is hosting an electronics recycling event for its residents, as well as Narberth residents, on May 22.

LOWER MERION-NARBERTH, PA — Lower Merion Township and Narberth Borough residents can recycle "anything with a plug" next month at the Lower Merion Public Works Complex.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 22 at the complex, 1300 Woodbine Ave. in Penn Valley.

Proof of Lower Merion or Narberth residency is required to use the event's services.

All items dropped off will be recycled by eForce, which will wipe or destroy all data on items dropped off.

  • typewriters
  • telephones/cell phones
  • cameras
  • calculators
  • peripherals
  • mice
  • small appliances
  • fax machines
  • keyboards
  • printers
  • computers

Other accepted items have a fee to recycle. They are: $30 per CRT, LCD, LED TV or computer monitor; $100 per rear-projection or wood console TV; $10 per air conditioner, dehumidifier, or microwave.

Payment can be made with credit cards.

Smoke detectors and large appliances will not be accepted.

Masks and social distancing are required at the event.
