Refuse, Recycling Pick Up Shifting For MLK Day In Lower Merion

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and that means Lower Merion is shifting its refuse and recycling collection next week.

With Monday, Jan. 20 being the holiday, collections will be held that day.

Below is the trash collection schedule for next week:

• Zone 1 – Tuesday
• Zone 2 – Wednesday
• Zone 3 – Thursday
• Zone 4 – Friday

For recycling, the schedule is:

• A1 or B1 – Tuesday
• A2 or B2 – Wednesday
• A3 or B3 – Thursday
• A4 or B4 – Friday

Residents can call the township's Refuse Office at (610) 667-1952, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. with any questions about holiday collections.
