Toxic Mix Sickens Cleaning Crew at Suburban Square

Toxic fumes sent five members of a cleaning crew at the Suburban Square shopping center to Lankenau Hospital Saturday night, according to 6-ABC.

According to the report, several cleaning chemicals were mixed together by the crew, causing the fumes. Lower Merion firefighters were on the scene at 11 p.m. Saturday and had the victims taken to Lankenau.

6-ABC also reports that five of the firefighters had to be decontaminated after responding to the incident.
