Trash, Recycling Pick Ups In Lower Merion Shift For Thanksgiving

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — With Thanksgiving nearly here, Lower Merion Township is reminding residents of a shift in the trash and recycling schedule during the holiday week.

Thanksgiving is Thursday, Nov. 28, so collections are suspended on that day.

Below is the trash collection schedule for Thanksgiving week:

• Zone 1 – Monday
• Zone 2 – Tuesday
• Zone 3 – Wednesday
• Zone 4 – Friday

For recycling, the schedule is:

• A1 or B1 – Monday
• A2 or B2 – Tuesday
• A3 or B3 – Wednesday
• A4 or B4 – Friday

Residents can call the township's Refuse Office at (610) 667-1952, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. with any questions about holiday collections.
