Trash, Recycling Shifting In Lower Merion For New Year's Day
It's nearly time to ring in the New Year, and that means Lower Merion Township's crews will be taking the day off Wednesday.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — As we get ready for champagne toasts and midnight kisses, Lower Merion Township is getting ready for a shifted refuse and recycling collection schedule.
To accommodate the New Year's Day holiday, the township is making changes to the collections.
This week, residents will have an adjusted collection schedule.

Collections on New Year's Day are suspended.
That means Zones 1 and 2 will have trash collected Monday and Tuesday, while Zones 3 and 4 will have collections Thursday and Friday.

As for recycling, Zones A1 or B1 and A2 or B2 will be collected Monday and Tuesday. Zones A3 or B3 and A4 or B4 will be collected Thursday and Friday.
