BALDWIN AND WHITEHALL, PA — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Baldwin and Whitehall so you can start planning now.

While neither borough will host formal Independence Day activities, in nearby Brentwood a 4th of July Parade will begin at the Brentwood Park entrance at 1 p.m. When the parade begins, two historic World War II planes will fly over the event.

Fireworks will occur at 9:30 p.m. in Brentwood Park.

Those who want to see a larger fireworks display can travel Downtown to view the city of Pittsburgh's fireworks at Point State Park.
