2021 Photography Grads’ Work Shines Across Subjects and Styles
New corporate partnership with SmugMug adds professional showcase for a range of assignments for students at Harcum College.

The first graduating class from the Photography program at Harcum College is enjoying the benefits of a new partnership with SmugMug to showcase their work. As the result of a corporate partnership with SmugMug, each student was gifted a professional account subscription
resulting in a new platform for their photos as well as a fully functional website from which they can sell their work.
This year’s student portfolios included examples from landscape and architecture shoots such as the photo by Amber O'Connell '21 above, food photography, product and commercial photos, fashion, and numerous other creative assignments such as the photo by Matt Prynda '21 below.
This professional website offers commerce tools that professional photographers need to run a successful business to help promote our graduates to potential employers and or freelance opportunities. See Amber O'Connell's SmugMug site here.

SmugMug also provided support for both students and faculty through live webinars and “office hours” where they demonstrated how to utilize SmugMug’s tools and features.
“I am extremely proud of the work of our first graduating class,” said Drew Simcox, Photography Program Director, “and I consider Smugmug a true ‘Partner in Education.’ They have offered such value-add to our students. With these professional websites, they are able to and have
been selling their work at very attractive prices even before they graduate.”
