"Back to the Future Part II" To Show In Bryn Mawr- Delorean Included

On the day Marty McFly arrived in the future, Bryn Mawr Film Institute will screen the second "Back to the Future" movie

To mark the very date to which Marty McFly time-traveled in “Back to the Future Part II,” the Bryn Mawr Film Institute will be screening that film in October, the theater announced over the weekend on its Instagram page.

The screening is set for Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at the Institute. But that’s not all- the evening will also include the appearance of a real Delorean. The car- flux capacitor included, the Institute said- will appear at the Bryn Mawr Trust lot at 6 p.m. that day.

Costumes are encouraged.

“Back to the Future Part II,” directed by Robert Zemeckis, was released in 1989. And despite years of incorrect Internet memes about “today” being “the day Marty traveled to the future,” Oct. 21, 2015, is in fact the correct day from the original film.
