She snagged that win on the heels of a win in the season opener at the Bryn Mawr Invitational, according to the college.

"Kate's put in a lot of hard work over the years and especially over this past summer," Bryn Mawr College Cross Country Coach Jason Hewitt. "It's great to see a senior kind of bring it all together to produce a great race like she did this weekend. Even more special to have the Conference recognize her efforts."

At the Bill Fritz Invitational, Edwards speed helped the college earn a fifth place overall finish, according to the college.

Well done, Kate!
