Bryn Mawr College Hosting Debate Viewing Party

Political science professor will host a pre-debate discussion at 8:15 p.m.

Bryn Mawr College is welcoming its students to a presidential debate viewing party on Oct. 19.

Beginning at 8:15 p.m. Marc Ross, Professor Emeritus of Political Science, who is an expert on conflict theory, will discuss the debate and election ahead of the final debate.

When the debate begins at 9 p.m. Bryn Mawr College alumnae Yong Jung Cho, former Campaign Coordinator at 350.org, a global climate movement, and Elizabeth Held, Director of Online and Millennial Engagement for White House Writers Group, a policy and communications consultancy, will discuss the impact of social media on the election. Cho and Held will be scanning social media and other channels to give the audience live analysis of the debate.

The viewing party will be held in the Neuberger Centennial Campus Center at 816 New Gulph Road, Bryn Mawr.
