Deer Saved From Window Well By Bryn Mawr Fire Company

The Lower Merion Fire Department said a deer trapped in a 6-foot-deep window well got out thanks to the Bryn Mawr Fire Company last night.

BRYN MAWR, PA — The Bryn Mawr Fire Company helped rescue a trapped deer Wednesday night, according to the Lower Merion Fire Department.

At about 8 p.m., the fire company was called to help the Pennsylvania Game Commission save a deer that got trapped in a window well.

Fire crews and the game commission eventually got the deer out by strapping it to a backboard and pulling it out of the window well, which was 6 feet deep.

The fire department said the game commissioner took the deer and released it at an undisclosed location.
