'Funny Girl' Sing-a-Long Headlines Tuesday
Happy Tuesday, Bryn Mawr. Here's a look at the day ahead.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Tuesday's here again. Below are few bits of intel that can help you make it through the day (mostly) unscathed. If we missed anything that might be of use, tell us about it in the comments below.Â
- The annual "National Night Out" community festival is here. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the west parking lot of Suburban Square, live music, food, rides, carnival games, face painters, and more will be available to attendees courtesy of the Lower Merion Community Watch and the National Association of Town Watch.Â
- Carrying a tune is like carrying piano: it's a lot easier when you have help. On Tuesday night the Bryn Mawr Film Institute is hosting a sing-a-long to Funny Girl, Barbara Streisand's first big screen role. The show starts at 7 p.m., and free popcorn goes to anyone who shows up in costume.Â
- Traffic: Check out the PennDOT traffic cameras to get a beat on how traffic looks this morning. A prediction: not great.Â
- Weather: The forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms with highs in the mid 70s. Temperatures should dip into the mid 60s overnight, with a 40 percent chance of more stormy weather.Â
- History: Per the History Channel, on this day in 1945, an American B-29 dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. The blast killed 80,000 immediately, while the various effects of the bomb killed another 60,000 people by year's end.Â
