GES : Update On The Superintendent Search

During May 2021, representatives from the search firm Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA) conducted a survey, numerous interviews and focus group meetings to assist the Lower Merion Board of School Directors in identifying the primary characteristics desired in a new superintendent, upon the retirement of current Superintendent Robert Copeland this fall.

The firm has summarized their findings in two documents, which are available below.

• The first is the Leadership Profile Report.
• The second is the Desired Characteristics Document.
