Harcum College Volleyball District L Champions

With a 20-7 season record, the team advances to the National Tournament in West Virginia.

The Harcum College Women's Volleyball Team captured the NJCAA Division II District L tournament championship on Sunday, November 5 making the Bears one of 16 teams from around the nation to advance to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in Charleston, West Virginia.

Harcum finished the district tournament with a 3-0 record, defeating the defending champion Community College of Rhode Island, 3 games to 1, in the championship match on Sunday. The Lady Bears, who are now 20-7 on the season, claimed their second district title in the past three seasons, having previously advanced to nationals in 2015. Harcum also won its third Region XIX championship in the past four years this season. Sophomore Kristina Aleksic was the 2017 Region XIX most valuable player.

The NJCAA Division II National Tournament will be held November 16-18 at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia.
