Harriton HS Soccer Standout Closes First Collegiate Soccer Season At Washington College
Kyle Gaeffke played one season as a Merchant Marine before heading to Washington College to play midfielder.

Haverford native and Harriton High School soccer star Kyle Gaeffke finished his fist season on the pitch with Washington College's Shoremen this year and has some numbers to show his efforts.
Gaeffke, a midfielder, netted two goals for four points in the 2016 season, according to the Chestertown, Maryland college.
The sophomore's goals were scored against Wesley on Sept. 21 and Ursinus on Oct. 15.

Out of 17 matches in 2016, Gaeffke started seven.
Gaeffke's high school accolades include lettering four times in soccer at Harriton High School; being named 2014 Bryn Mawr Rotary High School Soccer Player of the Year; two-time All-Central League player, earning first-team honors as a senior; named to the All-Main Line team; named team's MVP as a senior.

Before heading to Washington College, Gaeffke played soccer for the Unites STate Merchant Marine academy
Washington College sophomore forward/midfielder Kyle Gaeffke (Haverford, Pa./Harriton) concluded his first season with the Washington College men’s soccer team. He played in 17 matches for the Shoremen in 2016, starting seven times.
Gaeffke transferred to Washington College after transferring from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. He played three games at the academy
The Shoremen footballers finished 10-7-2 overall and 5-2-2 in the Centennial Conference as they reached the Centennial Conference Tournament for the first time.
