A 'Jurassic' Bad Movie Night Headed to Bryn Mawr Film Institute
Experts from the Academy of Sciences will explain the bad science behind the blockbuster

Bryn Mawr Film Institute next week will host a Mega-Bad Movie Night with a little help from the Academy of Sciences of Drexel University.
Showing on Thursday, Sept. 17, the film is 1997’s “The Lost World: Jurassic Park,” directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore. Before the movie, experts from the Academy will explain the faulty science behind the film, and the commentary will continue throughout the film, Mystery Science Theater 3000-style.
The Academy experts will bring live birds and fossils, in a presentation beginning at 7 p.m., before the movie starts at 8.
