Learn To Teach Kids Yoga This February In Bryn Mawr
The three-day class will help adults teach children the benefits and joys of yoga.

Adults in Bryn Mawr have an opportunity to learn techniques for teaching yoga to kids in February thanks to YogaKids International.
Level 1 Foundations Training is coming to Focus Fitness Main Line at 1111 E. Lancaster Ave., Bryn Mawr. The program is three days beginning Saturday, Feb. 18 and ending President's Day, Monday, Feb. 20.
YogaKids Teacher and Trainer Candy Blaxter will lead the training for adults. No yoga experience is required

There will also be free YogaKids classes for kids 5 to 10 years old on Saturday, Feb. 18 and President's Day.
"The YogaKids program is more than just poses," a YogaKids press release states. "It blends traditional yoga and its benefits with theories of multiple learning styles in a comprehensive, imaginative, and playful approach to education."

The 3-day Foundations Training is a stand-alone event and the prerequisite for the YogaKids Teacher Certification track. The training events are for anyone wanting to give the gift of yoga to children, including educators, parents, teachers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other child-focused professionals.
