Main Line Health Increases Minimum Wage Systemwide
As calls for a higher minimum wage grow, Main Line Health decided it was time to give its workers an increase in the minimum wage.

BRYN MAWR, PA — Starting in January this year, Main Line Health is giving its minimum wage employees more than the mandated minimum.
Main Line Health announced to their employees earlier this month that effective January 2019, it will increase its minimum wage to $15 an hour for all employees across the health system, including full-time, part-time and per diem employees.
The increase will benefit more than 1,200 employees working in the Main Line Health network.

Not only are minimum wager workers getting the bump, pay hikes were given to employees who were already earning salaries near $15 an hour to ensure internal equity.
"Main Line Health is dedicated to offering fair and equitable compensation to our employees," said Jack Lynch, President & CEO, Main Line Health. "We are proud to join many of our industry peers across the region in providing this pay increase to our staff. Every employee across the System has a critical role within the organization, and this helps us to demonstrate how much we value what each member of the team brings to the overall patient experience. This increase in pay aligns with our mission of improving the quality of life in the communities we serve.”
