Main Line Native Wins Grammy For Broadway Show Album
The Main Line native and his writing partner only need an Emmy to round out the coveted "EGOT" status, something only 12 people earned.

A Main Line native's trophy case continues to grow with major Hollywood awards. After recently being nominated for another Academy Award and winning his second Golden Globe, Main Line native Benj Pasek now has a Grammy to place on his quickly-filling mantle.
Pasek, of Ardmore, and his writing partner Justin Paul won a Grammy award Sunday night for Best Musical Theater Album for the hit Broadway show "Dear Evan Hansen."
Pasek and Paul previously won Tonys last year for "Dear Evan Hansen" in the Best Original Score and Best Musical Theater Album categories.

Just 12 people in the history of all four awards have achieved the feat.
According to Deadline Hollywood, Pasek and Paul could win an Emmy for the TV adaptation of their Tony-nominated musical "A Christmas Story." The duo wrote a new song “Count on Christmas” just for the live show.
Pasek and Paul were nominated for another Oscar in the Best Original Song category for the "This Is Me" from the film "The Greatest Showman."
ABC will air the Oscars at 8 p.m. on March 4 on ABC with host Jimmy Kimmel.
