More Political Signs Stolen In Bryn Mawr: Police

A Bryn Mawr resident reported signs were stolen from their home after seeing reports of sign thefts in the area, police said.

BRYN MAWR, PA — More signs have been stolen in Bryn Mawr, according to police.

Radnor Police said a resident on Jefferson Road in Bryn Mawr reported signs were stolen from the front of their property.

The theft occurred several weeks ago, but the resident reported the theft after seeing other incidences of sign thefts in the area.

Signs have been reported stolen from properties on Wyldhaven Road, Sproul Road, Jefferson Road, Conestoga Road, East Beechtree Lane, Forest Road, Lowrys Lane, and Sproul Road, police said.

Radnor Police Superintendent Chris Flanagan said the stolen signs have been for political candidates, but did not specify who the signs supported.

"We're asking people to be courteous and respectful as we go through the election process," he said.

Flanagan said people should get permission to remove signs before taking them from the ground.

He said residents should contact the township with any issues about political signs on public spaces.
