Report: Seth Williams Under Investigation

Another day, another report of a major area political figure under investigation.

The Inquirer’s Chris Brennan reported Friday that Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams is under federal investigation. The probe, according to the report, concerns campaign finance and was launched by the FBI and IRS; a grand jury has been empaneled after William’s campaign committee received subpoenas.

In a follow-up report Saturday, the Inquirer quoted Williams as blaming Attorney General Kathleen Kane for the previous Inquirer story.
