Mitt Romney, , was in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne for two private fundraisers on Tuesday.

The Bryn Mawr event was hosted by real estate developer Mitchell Morgan and his wife, Hilarie, according to Philly.com.

"The invite list reads like a who’s who of the area’s GOP dignitaries," according to Philly.com. "Top Republican fundraiser Robert B. Asher, former Gov. Tom Ridge and Patrick O’Connor, vice chairman of the Cozen O’Connor law firm, all made the list."

Romney's visit was confirmed to Lower Merion police by the Secret Service on Monday, according to Lower Merion Police Supt. Michael McGrath.

The private evening event at Morgan's Williamson Road home was preceded by a 3:30 p.m. private reception at the , according to McGrath.

While McGrath said there would be no road closures or other disruptions, he said the public might want to avoid Williamson Road between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. due to valet parking activity.

"There’s so much interest and excitement about Mitt Romney that there are two events here in Lower Merion tonight," Lower Merion Commissioner Scott Zelov said Tuesday afternoon. "Many individuals in this area are contributing to the Romney campaign, and hundreds will be attending at two venues tonight. Over $1 million is expected to be raised for the Romney campaign."
