The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) tests are fast approaching, and the School District of Philadelphia is taking a number of proactive steps to ensure students are prepared to perform at their best.Â
In an aim to facilitate a supportive network for students and parents during the PSSA process, the District’s Parent University has coordinated a series of PSSA Parent workshops to begin at schools this week.
The workshops will educated parents on the details and importance of the PSSA test, as well as the appropriate ways to help their children prepare. Topics will cover sections of the test, types of questions, ways to work PSSA prep into everyday activities, as well as provide a number of resources for parents to use while helping students prepare.
