Christmas In July Coming To Chestnut Hill

CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA — Christmas is coming to Chestnut Hill later this month for Christmas in July.

Chestnut Hill will be full of Christmas spirit July 24 and July 25 along Germantown Avenue.

Shoppers and their families can stroll and dine along the avenue, enjoy festive classics sung by carolers, bop to a brass quartet, and visit Santa.

The neighborhood will host various holiday-themed entertainment throughout the weekend, giving a sneak peek of what visitors can expect during Chestnut Hill’s favorite annual month-long tradition, Holidays on the Hill.

During the two-day celebration, businesses and restaurants in Chestnut Hill will offer discounts and specials to spread the holiday cheer and offer shoppers a jump start on the holiday shopping season

This holiday season, give the gift of summer to friends and family and help warm up those chilly winter nights. Stock up on unique summer-themed gifts, including summer scented candles, accessories, and apparel for holiday work parties and Secret Santa gift exchanges.

Santa will stroll between 8527 Germantown Ave. to 8125 Germantown Ave. on Saturday, July 24, from 2 to 5 p.m.

A brass quartet will entertain visitors with Christmas tunes on July 24 from noon to 3 p.m., and carolers will sing to visitors on Sunday, July 25, from 3 to 6 p.m.
