Armand Della Porta, Former Philadelphia Judge, Dies At 95

The Honorable Armand Della Porta died at his home in Chestnut Hill recently after a long life of courtroom experience.


The Honorable Armand Della Porta, retired Judge Commonwealth Court of PA, and Court of Common Pleas, Phila., PA, age 95, passed on Nov. 4, 2017 surrounded by his loving family, of Chestnut Hill, PA.

Survived by his wife of 63 yrs. Marie (nee Cascarino), his children Armand J. Jr. (Debbi), Peter F. (Jill and her daughter Taylor), Adriana Della Porta, and Adrian (Laurie), and his 6 grandchildren; John Michael, Aimee, Peter Jr., Stephanie, David, and Maria.

Relatives, and Friends are invited to his Viewing 9:00 -10:45 A.M. followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. Friday, Nov. 10, all at Our Mother of the Consolation Church, 9 E. Chestnut Hill Ave., Phila., PA 19118. Interment S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
