Update: Lincoln Drive Open in Both Directions

Update: As of 2:45 p.m. the accident has been cleared up and traffic is moving normally in both directions.

The nature of the accident and the number of peple invovled is still not known.

An afternoon car crash currently disrupts traffic along Lincoln Drive, police said

According to a tweet by the Philadelphia Police Department, Lincoln Drive is experiencing lane closures in the left lanes—both north and southbound—at Gypsy Lane. 

Police reported the car accident around 2 p.m.
