Chestnut Hill Eateries Offering Specials For 'Taste of Summer'
More than two dozen restaurants in Chestnut Hill are participating in the nine-day A Taste of Summer: Dining in Chestnut Hill event.

CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA — Numerous restaurants in Chestnut Hill are offering unique specials for nine days as part of A Taste of Summer: Dining in Chestnut Hill.
This special culinary experience runs from Friday, Sept. 4 through Sunday, Sept. 13 at various participating restaurants in Chestnut Hill.
Diners will be able to try meals from neighborhood eateries and enjoy limited-time summer menu items.

Most restaurants in Chestnut Hill will offer outdoor seating, and summer specialty items from participating restaurants will be available for dining in or for takeout, curbside pickup, and delivery.
Specialty items may be part of breakfast, lunch, or dinner menus.

Patrons are encouraged to share their Taste of Summer meal photos on social media platforms using the hashtag #PostYourPlateCH. One randomly selected Chestnut Hill diner will win a $25 Chestnut Hill gift card.
The following restaurants will offer Taste of Summer limited summer-themed specials:

- Water Tower Breakfast Dog — steamed eggs, white cheddar cheese, hot dog, with or without ketchup

- Campbell’s Place
- Jersey Shore Cioppino — fresh little neck clams, mussels, shrimp and blue crab meat in white wine, tomato saffron broth, served with toast points
- Chestnut Hill Brewing Company
- Heirloom Caprese Salad with fresh mozzarella, shredded mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, balsamic, and basil
- Summer Cob Salad — romaine lettuce, shredded mozzarella, goat cheese, oven-roasted local corn, oven-roasted asparagus with garlic and rosemary
- Brussels Char — fontina, ricotta, charred brussels sprouts, caramelized onions, and aged balsamic
- Roasted Peach Salad — spinach, red onion, radish, jicama, and roasted peaches, topped with pecans, lemon pecan vinaigrette
