A smaller, gentler version of Donald Trump appeared on the stage in Wilkes-Barre Monday night.

No, Trump the candidate hasn't toned down his campaign. But a mini version of the Republican nominee was invited up to the stage to make an appearance, prompting what was undoubtedly the cutest moment to ever transpire at a Trump rally.

The child, who hasn't been identified in multiple media reports, was spotted in the crowd wearing a dark suit and a large "vote" button. His full head of light brown hair was combed-over in true Trump fashion.

The candidate, in the midst of his second Pennsylvania rally of the day, invited the tot up to the stage at the Mohegan Sun Arena. To the roaring cheers of an excited crowd, he held him up to the microphone and asked the boy his name, which was inaudible in the recordings.

"He’s supposed to look like Donald Trump but he’s actually much too good looking," the Republican presidential candidate said. He then asked the child if he wanted to go back to mom and dad, or "stay with Donald Trump."

The boy gave a one-word answer. "Trump."

The lighthearted exchange was a brief diversion from the aggressive and angry tone that has taken over the campaign in recent days, following the release of a tape in which Trump is speaking in lewd terms regarding woman and a divisive debate Sunday night. The 2005 tape has prompted backlash from other members of the GOP, and a weakening of support from voters, new polling shows.

In an NBC/WSJ poll released Monday, Clinton has a double-digit lead against Trump, garnering 46 percent of voters' support to Trump's 35 percent.
