Roxborough native Rasheed Bailey, whose impressive preseason with the Eagles culminated in a touchdown Thursday night, has been released by the team, ESPN’s Adam Caplan reported Thursday.
This does not, in fact, that Bailey will never wear the Eagles uniform again. He will be placed on waivers- giving other teams an opportunity to claim his services- but if no team does, Bailey can be added to the Eagles’ practice squad.
Bailey, a graduate of Roxborough High School, was undrafted out of college but impressed NFL observers in the preseason.
