Eagles Reportedly Release Josh Huff After Gun, Pot Arrest
Huff was arrested earlier this week after allegedly speeding on the Walt Whitman Bridge.

The Philadelphia Eagles release wide receiver Josh Huff Thursday after authorities found marijuana and a gun in his car during a traffic stop, according to multiple reports.
ESPN reports Huff was released Thursday and the team will address Huff's release later today.
Huff is reported to have practiced with the team Wednesday.

Authorities arrested Huff Tuesday on the New Jersey side of the Walt Whitman Bridge after police stopped him for speeding. Huff told police he had marijuana and a gun in the vehicle, which led to his arrest.
According to Philly.com, Huff was charged with speeding; possession of a small amount of marijuana; unlawful possession of a weapon; and prohibited weapons/devices.

ESPN reports the gun in his possession was an unloaded 9mm handgun and a magazine with hollow point bullets was in the car.
