Anyone traveling throughout Northwest Philadelphia recently has no doubt encountered the traffic nightmare in the area of Ridge Avenue, City Avenue, Kelly Drive and Lincoln Drive.

Buckley & Co. Inc. of Philadelphia was awarded the contract to upgrade what's known as the Gustine Lake Interchange.

For months, workers have been rebuilding and upgrading structurally deficient bridges and relocating ramps in the $20 million Pennsylvania Department of Transportation project.
