Holistic Health Fair Hitting Mt. Airy Saturday

MT. AIRY, PHILADELPHIA – Are you health conscious? If so then you're going to want to stop in Mt. Airy this weekend for he Mt. Airy Holistic Health Fair.

The fair will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the 6700 block of Germantown Avenue between Pelham Road and Carpenter Lane.

More than two dozen practitioners of various alternative health modalities from across Northwest Philadelphia will be on hand to teach attendees about their methods for healthy living.

Some key topics that will be featured at the fair include nutrition, reiki, massage, yoga and other
movement-based modalities, meditation, acupuncture, plant medicine, and many more.

Attendees will be able to meet the pros who practice these techniques.

Not only will there be all things holistic health for parents, children's activities will be available, too.

The fair will also feature music, healthy food, and more.

So far six demonstrations are planned for the fair and those include tai chi, barre workouts, somatic therapy, and more.

Three panels will discuss health topics as well. Attendees will hear about stress management, family wellness, and healthy aging from a slew of professionals and experts in those fields.

Guests can also go home with coupon books full of discounts on services from participating providers, but only 500 books are available, so getting to the fair early in encouraged.
