Iron Hill Chestnut Hill Rolling Out Limited Time Oktoberfest Menu

CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA — Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant in Chestnut Hill is gearing up for Oktoberfest and will bring new menu items and new beers for the seasonal festivities.

Beginning Sept. 27 Iron Hill's Oktoberfest menu will be available through Oct. 17.

Oktoberfest menu items include Hackbraten and Jaeger Schnitzel, incorporating Iron Hill beers in the recipes. See the full menu below.

In addition to the German classics, Iron Hill will be offering its Oktoberfest lager on taps at all locations.

The German-style festival beer is a medium-bodied lager with 6 percent alcohol by volume.

Oktoberfest will also be available for takeout in 16-ounce cans starting on Thursday, Sept. 26 while supplies last.

• Pan Seared Salmon
  • potato croquettes, shaved brussels sprouts with bacon and almonds, sweet mustard dill sauce
• Huhner Schnitzel
  • pan-fried chicken cutlets, haricots verts and almonds, buttery egg noodles, lemon herb sauce
• Hackbraten
  • German style meatloaf, buttery smashed Yukon gold potatoes, Vienna Red Lager braised red cabbage, caramelized onion Abbey Dubbel Ale sauce
• Jaeger Schnitzel
  • pan-fried pork cutlets, herbed spaetzel, haricots verts, roasted mushroom Wee Heavy Ale sauce
• Apple Bread Pudding
  • warm apple golden raisin bread pudding, rum sauce, vanilla ice cream
