Kids Can Explore Wissahickon Creek On June 16
The free event from the Wissahickon Environmental Center will let kids play in and around the creek while center staff keeps an eye on them.

PHILADELPHIA – Kids are invited to explore Wissahickon Creek June 16 as a free event from the Wissahickon Environmental Center.
From 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 16, kids ages 6 to 12 can explore the creek for free.
Kids will be able to climb over trees, play in the creek, traverse rocks, and more while environmental center staff keeps an eye on the kids (with Band-Aids on hand for any scrapes).

Parents and guardians can drop kids off or stay and play themselves.
While the event is free, registration is required.
