LOVE Park Reopening Delayed By Excavation 'Complications': Report

The reopening of LOVE Park has been delayed due to construction complication according to a new report from Billy Penn.

According to the outlet, Parks and Recreation Department Commissioner Kathryn Ott Lovell said the ark is expected to reopen in late September.

The delay comes after construction crews found brick, stone, pipes, and a lot more dirt than they expected to find while digging up the park.

The outlet reports the delay will not affect the designs that were rafted in 2015.
