Lovett Park Hosting Mixer For Philly School Families Friday

With a half day Friday for Philadelphia public schools, families are invited to attend a mixer event at the Lovett Memorial Library Park.

MT. AIRY, PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia school students, parents, guardians, and caregivers are invited to enjoy a mixer event with other families Friday, May 18 in Mt. Airy.

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, May 18, Lovett Park at the Lovett Memorial Library Branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia will host a Family Mixer, as public schools have a half day Friday.

The mixer will feature food, music, and information for students, parents, and caregivers of the six local public schools; Day, Emlen, Henry, Houston, Jenks, and Lingelbach.

The Mt. Airy Schools Coalition, NW PHL Public Schools, Mt. Airy Youth Council, and Lovett Memorial Library Branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia are partnering to host the mixer event.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. Registration is requested, however.
