Lyft Now Offering Rides From Philly To The Shore

Lyft Beach Pass is launching just in time for Memorial Day weekend to help you get down the shore without the hassle of driving or parking.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphians trying to get down the shore have a new option just in time for Memorial Day weekend.

The rideshare company Lyft announced Lyft Beach Pass Tuesday.

Lyft Beach Pass is a new program providing riders the opportunity to travel to and from New Jersey’s beaches all summer long.

Starting Memorial Day Weekend, Lyft will offer promo codes providing flat fares to and from popular beach destinations across Atlantic City and Cape May County.

Philadelphia locals can ride to Atlantic City and Cape May County beaches for a fixed $110 fare using code BEACHPASSPHI. The code is valid every weekend through Labor Day, from Friday afternoon to Sunday night, limited quantity available.

“Lyft is thrilled to offer Philadelphians a convenient way to travel down the shore this summer,” said Andrew Woolf, Lyft General Manager for Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. “We know that Philly residents are planning shore weekends throughout the season and we’re happy to help them focus on kicking back at the beach, while we take care of their transportation.”

With Lyft Beach Pass making it easier and more convenient than ever to get to and from the shore, beach-goers can forgo crowded trains and expensive parking.
