Man Shot In East Mt Airy Tuesday Morning: Police

Police said a man was driving when he was shot in the arm and leg at Upsal Street and Stenton Avenue early Tuesday morning.

EAST MT. AIRY, PHILADELPHIA — A man was shot early Tuesday morning in East Mount Airy, according to Philadelphia Police.

Police said the shooting occurred at about 12:18 a.m. in the area of Upsal Street and Stenton Avenue.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was driving in the area when he was shot in the right arm and left thigh, police said.

He drove to the 200 block of Upsal Street where he flagged down police.

Police took the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he is in stable condition.

Police did not find a weapon and have not made an arrest.
