'Movies Under The Stars' Returning To Chestnut Hill

While the movie lineup has yet to be announced, the Chestnut Hill Community Association announced its summer evening movies are coming back.

CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA – Free outdoor movies under the summer night sky are returning to Chestnut Hill.

The Chestnut Hill Community Association is bringing back Movies Under the Stars to the lawn of the Water Tower Recreation Center this summer.

While the movie lineup has not been announced, the group said each week the events will begin at 7 p.m. with food trucks offering bites and beverages before the movie starts.

Chestnut Hill Community Association can visit the group's membership tent to pick up a complimentary treat and a drink., too.

Movies will be shown at 8 p.m.

Movie showings will be canceled in the event of rain.

The Water Tower Recreation Center is located at 209 E. Hartwell Lane.
