Nine Philly High School Basketball Stars Nominated As McDonald's All-Americans
The players represent five schools in the city.

Nine standout basketballers in Philadelphia were nominated as 2017 McDonald's All-Americans.
The male players are:
- Malik Archer, a senior guard playing for Mathematics, Civics and Sciences Charter School
- David Beaty, a senior shooting guard plating for Imhotep Institute Charter High School
- Darron Russel, a senior point guard playing for Imhotep Institute Charter High School
- Quade Green, a senior point guard playing for Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School

- Minika Glen, Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School
- Alexis Hnatkowsky, William Penn Charter School
- Ashley Jones, Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School
- Morgan Kennedy, West Catholic Preparatory High School
- Chyna Dixon, Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School
A total of 32 players from the Keystone state made up he list, with many players representing nearby Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Bucks counties.
Nominees were selected high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and members of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee.

Those athletes will compete during the 40th annual games on Wednesday, March 29 at Chicago's United Center. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
