Pennsylvania State Department Certifies Trump's Victory In PA

The Pennsylvania Department of State announced the certified results of the presidential election in the Keystone state Monday.

The department certified the results with Gov. Tom Wolf signing a Certificate of Ascertainment for the slate of electors for Donald Trump as president and Mike Pence as vice president.

According to the department, President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Pence earned 2,970,733 votes while Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine earned 2,926,441 votes.

Libertarians Gary Johnson and William Weld totaled 146,751, Green Party candidates Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka earned 49,941 and Constitution Part candidates Darrell Castle and Scott Bradley earned 21,572 votes, according to the state department.

While all 67 counties have been certified for the presidential election, the state department said results from other races in the state will be certified after all counties have completed the process.
