Philadelphia School District Seeks 5,000 Substitutes
Hiring firm handling substitute teachers for district openings

The Philadelphia School District is looking for a few good substitute teachers.
The District and the hiring firm recently hired to fill substitute jobs are looking for 5,000 of them, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The firm is planning a major advertising campaign, including highway billboards, to reduce the vacancies.
Source4Teachers, the company hired by the district to fill the jobs, is accepting applications at SubinPhilly.com. Before this year the district had run substitutions in-house.
