Philadelphia's Public Pools In Opening Just In Time For Summer

PHILADELPHIA – It's hot in Philadelphia, like really hot. But over the next two weeks the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department is offering some respite from the punishing heat as more than 70 public pools are opening.

The indoor and outdoor community pools are opening through this week and next week. However, three pools –Bridesburg, Lederer, and Sayre Morris pools – will be closed for the season.
